Here is how the Mojahedin el-Halk (Mojahedin Khalq, Maryam Rajavi cult, MEK) militants attack Mostafa Mohammady in the streets of Tirana. They try to illegally detain and later hit Mostafa, who ends up in hospital. The operation against Mostafa was directed by commander Behzad Saffari. He led bands of mojahedin to later protest against Mostafa even in Tirana’s police station number 4

GJERGJ THANASI

O Edvini_lidhi_zagarët_Moxhahedin_Edi_Rama_MEK

Gjergj_Thanasi_AlbaniaPrime Minister Edwin, advised by his boss and his mentor George Sorros, signed a secret agreement with former Secretary of State Kerry to transfer to Albania and to shelter the remaining 3000 Iranian Mojahedin (MEK) from Iraq. This agreement, which went much further than the agreement struck by former Prime Minister Berisha to shelter some tens of Mojahedin in Albania, was considered by Prime Minister Edwin as a miracle that would only bring profit. For the prime minister this was compensation for the gaffes and backsliding on the problem of dismantling Assad’s chemical weapons in Albania. The agreement placed the President Obama administration in debt to the Prime Minister of a small Balkan country. In Albania we would have over 3,000 “tourists” for 365 days a year. Criminal elements close to Edwin, on the back of the minimum accusation of negligence, would benefit from millions of petrodollars for housing, protection or transportation of Iranian Mojahedin, or even for building their paramilitary base in Manzas of Durres, the so-called Ashraf Camp 3. Bribes, only bribes is what you can say about such a deal. Actually, Prime Minister Edwin had forgotten the English saying that there is no such thing as a free lunch. The arrival of this organization, the clique, the cult led by Madam Rajavi in Albania began to have increasingly disturbing side effects. We recall the anti-Mojahedin protest of the inhabitants of Manza over the cemetery as well as a series of developments in the field of the judiciary.

So far, Albanian prosecutors have the files of four accusations (made by proxy Albanian lawyers) of the families of different individuals resident in Camp Ashraf 3 in Golan. All four criminal charges have the common charge: the unlawful deprivation of liberty of the person. These Iranian Mojahedin family members MEK accuse the organization, Madam Rajavi’s cult, of abducting their relatives (children, brothers, sisters) and holding them in the camp against their will. Strangely enough, the Albanian prosecution is investigating these 4 counts with the speed of a snail ….

Malek Sharaii’s brother, the Iranian Mojahed who reportedly drowned in a reservoir not far from Ashraf 3 camp, sent a letter of protest to Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees at the United Nations. Faryad Azadi, his brother on behalf of the whole family informs Filippo Grandi that the family is convinced that Malek Sharaii did not die accidentally but was killed by the Iranian Mojahedin (or MEK). The Sharaii family also protests strongly about the attitude of the Albanian police and prosecution, which has halted investigations into how the deceased really lost his life. The mother of the deceased, Masoumeh Torkamani and his sister, Zahra Sharaii, hope for the help of the UN to find his body. Prime Minister Edwin with his Iranian Mojahedin Renaissance is taking us back to the 1990s, when foreign diplomats and UN representatives pressed dictator Alia about the dead on the walls of the embassies in Tirana and the missing in unnamed tombs over in Macedonia. Thankfully this time the MEK’s hunting dogs are only killing Iranians not Albanians, thank God!

The couple, Mahboubeh and Mostafa Mohamadi, had not engaged a lawyer, but had come to Albania and are urgently trying to meet their daughter Somayeh Mohammadi, who according to the couple was abducted by the Iranian MEK and can be found in Camp Ashraf 3. The couple have not missed any Albanian institution without knocking on the door, including the offices of the UNCHR. These two parents have also written a letter to Minister Xhafa about the plight that has befallen them. On July 26, 2017 (I was present), they also filed criminal charges for the unlawful deprivation of liberty of the person at the Police Directorate of Durres District. On Friday, July 27, 2017, a group of Iranian MEK attacked the couple in question in the Medresea area in Tirana. The attack was not just verbal insults and threats, but also physical, with slaps, punches and kicks. Father Mostafa ended up in hospital – his hospital photos have now become viral on Albanian social networks. Then a bunch of MEKs with banners in their hands spent a few hours in the courtyard of the Police Commissariat no. 4 in Tirana, putting pressure on the Albanian police not continue with interrogation of their “friends” who attacked Mostafa, who only insists on meeting his daughter who is believed to be in Camp Ashraf 3 in Manza.

O Edwin, Prime Minister and Chief of the internal affairs of my country, chain up the hunting dogs! If you cannot control the hunting dogs because they have prior links to you, then please explain to them that they are in Albania for humanitarian reasons as persons protected by the Albanian state and not as a bunch of mercenaries that can put pressure on the Albanian police. My homeland Albania is not “the sick man” of the Adriatic with “the Bosphorus disease”, like the Turkey of Sultan Abdul Hamiti,. MEK cannot enjoy extraterritoriality because of your government Edwin; the Prime Minister of my country has not signed Sultan Abdul Hamiti’s capitulation for a meal!

[Oh Edwin, please God you do not lower today’s level to that of Fatmir Mehdi, Meta, Mehdihoxha of 10 years ago who, in order to avoid bribery with colonels and Albanian generals, told that for that medallion of Chinese pellets in Rinas and for those MANPADs and Gerdec cathedrals, Fatmir as Fatmir had not received any dollar, making a favor to those CIAs of the CIA. When Gerdec broke out with 26 people killed and 300 injured, none of the CIA’s “cunat” came to god. Albanian colonels and generals ended up in jail or asylum in the US (SIC!), While Fatmir became an environment minister! Do not lower the level with the CIA fairy tales that Manze’s MEK is throwing dance in Albania, that you are favoring those CIA’s “cunas”. Do not bother me at Mediu of Seed!]

O Edwin, with humility pay attention to the Albanian proverb: The dog, when freed from the chain, bites everyone in the area as well. If the MEK are freed from their chain, Lord knows whether they will stop biting until they reach the general secretary of the ministry or go to the ministers and prime minister. Beware, Prime Minister not to make a mistake in the name of my country with these MEK, there is no anti-rabies vaccine!

O Edwin do not provoke the Albanians who … demonstrated against Assad’s chemical weapons as the concession payment for the National Road, or for the failure of the mines in Bulqiza and so on. The MEK sat you in your place when some 50 citizens of Manza protested against the burial of Mojahedin in the Manza cemetery and you Edwin were lying to say that these Manzas MEKs will profit us?!?!?!?

O Edwin, like our ancestors, set boundaries for the Manzas MEK…

GJERGJ THANASI

Mossad admits cooperating with MKO over anti-Iran plot

Israel’s main spy agency Mossad has openly acknowledged that it cooperated with the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (MKO) terror group over a plot to implicate the Islamic Republic in what it said would be a bomb attack in Paris.

Mossad said it had worked with its Belgian, French and German counterparts to uncover an alleged cell that was planning to bomb a June 30 conference in the French capital organized by the MKO, Israeli website Headshot reported on Thursday.

According to the report, the cell was led by an Iranian diplomat based in the Austrian capital of Vienna. It was also consisted of two Belgian nationals and another alleged member in Paris.

All of the suspects, including the alleged diplomat and his wife, were arrested and charged with plotting the attack.

The MKO event went ahead as planned and was attended by some of the former US, European and Saudi officials, including former Saudi spy chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal, who also delivered a speech.

The Mossad claim puts Israel next to Saudi Arabia, which Tehran says has been colluding with the MKO and providing it with financial support since the Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.

Mossad’s alleged operation to protect the MKO occurred days ahead of a visit to Europe by Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani for meetings with his Swiss and Austrian counterparts concerning the 2015 nuclear accord and its future.

In an attempt to convince Trump and his European allies (the EU3) to quit the JCPOA, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a live televised presentation claimed that Israel had obtained access to what he described as “stolen” evidence that proved Iran’s attempts to produce nuclear weapons. Iran strongly rejected Netanyahu’s allegations which it said were based on “unsubstantiated” evidence.

The MKO has fabricated evidence against Iran’s nuclear program in the past and supplied third parties with forged documents.

‘A sinister false flag ploy’

Iran has already dismissed the claim as baseless, with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif calling the arrests a “sinister false flag ploy.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also said the MKO was seeking to damage Iran-Europe relations.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran, as it has repeatedly announced, condemns and rejects any act of violence and terrorist move in any part of the world and in all its forms,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on July 3.

There is evidence that the suspects arrested in Belgium are among the members of the MKO terror group, he said, expressing Iran’s readiness to work to clarify the real aspects of what he described as a “pre-planned scenario” against the Islamic Republic.

Was it an Iranian terror plot or a false flag operation?

Belgian police say an Iranian diplomat was involved in a plot to bomb a rally of the dissident Iranian group MEK, but Iran says MEK itself is to blame.

Was it an Iranian plot to blow up a political rally near Paris where the U.S. president’s lawyer and a former speaker of the House were scheduled to speak? Or was it a “false flag” operation set up by an Iranian dissident group to damage Iran’s reputation?

While the roots of the plot remain uncertain, some particulars are clear: Belgian authorities arrested a young couple Saturday in a Brussels suburb. The man and the woman are both Belgian citizens of Iranian descent. A search of their Mercedes turned up 500 grams of TATP, a powerful explosive used by terrorists, and a detonator hidden in a small toiletry kit. Belgian authorities were so concerned they brought in a bomb squad to blow it up.

In addition, an alleged accomplice was taken into custody in France and an Iranian diplomat assigned to Tehran’s embassy in Vienna was arrested in Germany, his diplomatic immunity stripped by the Austrians.

A spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor said Wednesday that the intended target was the annual convention of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the political affiliate of MEK, the Mojahedin-e Khalq or “Peoples’ Mujahedin of Iran,” a well-financed dissident group that formed in the 1960s. MEK was accused by the State Department of assassinating six Americans in Iran prior to the 1979 Iranian revolution and assassinating Iranian diplomats after it.

Amir_S_Nasimeh_N_MEK_Terrorist_Maryam_RajaviThis undated photo distributed Tuesday, July 3, 2018 by the Iranian Foreign Ministry purports to show a man the Ministry says is Amir Soudani, right, next to a man they say is Mehdi Abrishamchi, center, a top MEK official in Europe. The face of the person on the left has been blotted out by the Ministry for what they say are security reasons.Iranian Foreign Ministry

The spokesman said the couple had picked up the TATP in Luxembourg from the Iranian diplomat and “were fully aware of the risk involved of using this unstable explosive; they had every intention of using it. … They were not naïve.”

When asked if the Iranian diplomat was an agent of any of Iran’s security services, a Belgian judicial source replied, “Practically all employees of Iranian embassies are part of the Iranian Secret Service.”

Among those who spoke at the MEK rally Saturday, which drew a crowd of thousands: Rudolph Giuliani, one of President Donald Trump’s lawyers; Louis Freeh, director of the FBI from 1993 to 2001; and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich — three of the many prominent Americans of different political stripes who have publicly supported MEK.

But who were the would-be bombers working for? Both U.S. officials and Iran experts have been left scratching their heads.

“There are no simple stories in this patch,” said Daniel Benjamin, the State Department’s coordinator for counterterrorism during the Obama administration.

There are three competing theories circulating in the media and the corridors of power:

  • It was a state-sponsored operation by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) or its overseas branch, the Quds Force, mounted with the blessing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
  • It was a rogue operation by the IRGC or the Quds force, mounted without the knowledge of Iran’s elected government.
  • It was a false flag operation devised by the MEK, intended to embarrass Iran while Iran’s president was in Europe seeking to shore up backing for the Iran nuclear deal after the American withdrawal.

The Iranians are pointing the finger at MEK itself. Foreign Minister Javad Zarif used his Twitter account to raise the possibility of a false flag operation. “How convenient,” he tweeted Monday. “Just as we embark on a presidential visit to Europe, an alleged Iranian operation and its ‘plotters’ arrested …”

A spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Iranian diplomat arrested by Belgian authorities was wrongly accused and had nothing to do with the plot. “The claims against the Iranian diplomat are baseless and we categorically reject them,” said the spokesman, Bahram Ghassemi. “The other individuals arrested are known members of the so-called Mojahedin-e Khalq terrorist group. The group is an oppressive cult with a long history of terrorist activity and targeting innocent civilians going back decades, and the ties of the mentioned individuals with it have long been established.”

Specifically, Ghassemi pointed to Amir Sadouni, the male half of the couple arrested Saturday. Ghassemi claimed Sadouni had long been a member of MEK and produced a photograph purportedly of Sadouni with a senior MEK official.

The Belgian prosecutor’s spokesman, however, said Wednesday the MEK is not suspected in the plot at this stage of the investigation.

A U.S. intelligence official suggested that he would not be surprised by any of the possibilities, or others, but he and others noted that if it was directed by the Iranian government, it would be an “extraordinary operation, not what we are used to seeing … but it is consistent with their aggressiveness of late.”

In a speech to the Heritage Foundation in May, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, providing no details, that “today, the Iranian Quds Force conducts covert assassination operations in the heart of Europe.” The State Department declined comment on the statement.

But the timing of the attack would’ve been odd for the Iranian government or the IRGC, since it came just before Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Vienna on Tuesday for the beginning of a European diplomatic swing.

Hooman Majd, an Iranian-American author and contributor to NBC News, also points to the location of the target, Paris, as odd. French President Emmanuel Macron has been the chief European advocate of holding the Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA, together.

“The MEK does this every year,” said Majd, referring to their convention. “Suddenly, you decide to blow it up? That doesn’t ring true. It would have been devastating for Iran and the JCPOA.”

But Majd and Benjamin also said they can’t eliminate the possibility that this could be a rogue operation planned by Iranian security services — or by radical elements within the Iranian security services — aimed at embarrassing the Rouhani government and perhaps even putting them in charge of an embattled Iran. The IRGC has been a big winner during the time Iran has been under sanctions, facilitating backdoor deals and reaping profits along the way.

“The Iranian government is a very complicated operation, not nearly as easily diagrammed as ours is, even given the chaos of the moment,” said Benjamin, now the director of the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth. “There are different groups with different agendas. I could well imagine the IRGC thinking this was a moment to do something extreme even though it would appear to carry significant risk from the West, the U.S. in particular.”

Moreover, said Benjamin, “we can’t think of Iranians being careful about the use of force and terror. We make them out to be sharper than they are.” He said the “tradecraft” of Iranian security services — the manner and skill with which they operate — has “shown some rustiness” in recent years.

If it does turn out the Iranian government played any role in a plot against the MEK, he suggested that the Trump administration would seize on it, since the MEK has friends in high places. The president’s new national security adviser, John Bolton, has long been an advocate of the MEK — “a devout shill,” in Benjamin’s words. NBC News has reported that Bolton and Giuliani have received thousands of dollars in speaking fees from the group over the years.

A Washington spokesman for the NCRI, MEK’s political affiliate, called the Iranian regime’s accusation that MEK was involved in the plot a “totally bogus claim.”

In a statement, the spokesman said, “The preposterous claim by the Iranian regime, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, that the arrest of two terrorists in Belgium and an Iranian diplomat in Germany was a ‘false flag operation’ is an absurd lie.”

“The ridiculous attempt to blame the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) for this criminal and terrorist operation is thinly-veiled attempt to cover up the direct and undeniable role of the Iranian regime and its diplomat-terrorists, caught red-handed. … Belgian investigators unequivocally rejected the claim that the MEK was in any way involved.” The spokesman said the arrested couple had pretended to support MEK.

Giuliani said that all participants at the rally were grateful to law enforcement in Belgium and France for stopping an attack on a “gathering supporting freedom from the theocratic oppressive regime in Iran.”

The Iran Protests, Regime Change, And The MEK

by Anne and Massoud Khodabandeh

When protests broke out in Iran at the end of 2017, most countries maintained a hands-off approach. After all, these countries maintain diplomatic and trade relations with the Iranian government. Even some influential U.S. observers recommended caution. Former Secretary of State John Kerry, for instance, tweeted: “With humility about how little we know about what’s happening inside Iran, this much is clear: it’s an Iranian moment and not anyone else’s. But the rights of people to protest peacefully and voice their aspirations are universal and governments everywhere should respect that.”

But other American observers, eager to exploit the protests for their own purposes of promoting regime change in Iran, quickly rushed in where the more cautious feared to tread. The first push came from the media. Lacking any organizations or opposition leaders to interview inside Iran, some American media substituted Iranian exiles as representatives of the people. Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s Monarchists got some coverage.

But it was Maryam Rajavi, leader of the notorious Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK), who received the most coverage, appearing by video link on Fox News and Voice of America.

The MEK is a fringe, cult-like group that was once on the U.S. terrorism list. Rajavi’s appearances, in which she talks as though she represented the Iranian people, provided Iran’s leaders with a gift. Among other angry Farsi commentary, she provoked a hashtag storm on Twitter, with Iranians of every political stripe telling Rajavi in English and Farsi to #shutuprajavi. It is hard to overstate how much Iranians both inside and outside the country hate the MEK.

Indeed, the Iranian media immediately translated Maryam Rajavi and the MEK’s social media output and video speeches into Farsi to inform all Iran’s citizens how the US was hoping to impose the MEK on the country through regime change. Some Iranians might want regime change but what comes after is just as important. No Iranian wants the MEK to substitute for the mullahs.

Later, what had begun as working-class protests against economic hardship and government corruption were quickly politicized by agitators who instigated violence. Iran’s Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Khamenei attributed these incidents of violence to “foreign interference,” naming America, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and their proxy, the MEK. Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), announced that the MEK trained a number of people involved in the violence. Iran’s intelligence service in the western Iranian province of Lorestan also said it had disbanded and arrested four members of a terrorist cell linked to the MEK in Boroujerd. Iran also claimed to have uncovered a network of agitators organized from Afghanistan and Iraqi Kurdistan that planned to launch violent actions later in 2018. The spontaneous and widespread working-class protests had apparently triggered the network into action ahead of schedule.

If the plan had been to provoke Iran’s security services into a harsh crackdown on the protesters, which the Western media could then present as human rights violations, it largely didn’t work. Instead, the establishment brought out its supporters in big counter-demonstrations. Above all, when the protests turned violent, ordinary people went home. They wanted no part in manufactured regime change. Iran’s hardliners know that the most effective way to denounce the protests without resorting to bans or violence is to blame the MEK. This allows them to spin their suppressive activities to the populace as counter-terrorism.

Iranians are not surprised by the involvement of the MEK in violence. They know the group and its history. A visitor to any war museum in Iran will find a section dedicated to the MEK’s military collaboration with Saddam Hussein. New Iranian films and TV docudramas educate a new generation about the MEK terrorism, which caused thousands of civilian deaths.

Nevertheless, the MEK’s backers have worked for years to whitewash the group’s past crimes for a Western audience. For anti-Iran elements in the United States, the MEK has been a useful tool by leaking faked information during the nuclear negotiations and posing as human rights advocates. This carefully constructed narrative of victimhood and supposedly democratic values has allowed the MEK to operate in political circles where they could push the regime change agenda.

Meanwhile, in Albania, the MEK was busy secretly reconstructing the terrorist training camp it had lost in Iraq. When former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton negotiated an agreement to transfer 3,000 MEK fighters from Iraq to Albania, funding was earmarked to establish an Institute for De-Radicalisation so that the MEK could be successfully rehabilitated back into society. That didn’t happen. In this past year, Senator John McCain(R-AZ) and former UN ambassador John Bolton both visited Albania to promote the MEK and its regime-change agenda.

These and other MEK activities have driven a wedge between Europe and the Trump administration. Even before the protests, European parliamentarians had demanded a ban on the MEK, particularly after an incident of MEK violence on parliamentary premises. Relations between France and Iran now make it possible for Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to directly demand that France curtail the MEK’s activities there.

In an attempt to maneuver her way out of this isolation and irrelevance, Maryam Rajavi recently published an article in the Wall Street Journal as though none of this had happened. It is just one more attempt by the MEK to portray itself as an influential representative of the Iranian people. But if the MEK had even one iota of influence inside Iran, the protests would have become much more violent. Instead, all the MEK seems to have accomplished is to provide Iran’s hardliners with a convenient rationale for suppressing an authentic civic movement for change.

Iran Foreign Ministry dismisses US implicating of Iranian embassies in terror acts

Iran Foreign Ministry dismisses US implicating of Iranian embassies in terror acts

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi has dismissed as ludicrous a recent US allegation that Iranian embassies are involved in terror attacks in Europe.

Qassemi on Wednesday rejected the allegation by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as baseless, preposterous and part of a targeted propaganda campaign and psychological warfare against the activities of the Iranian embassies, which he said were in line with international conventions and aimed at promoting bilateral friendly relations with other countries.

Qassemi said that bringing up such allegations was “another attempt by the United States to destroy our country’s foreign relations.”

Pompeo on Tuesday accused Iran of using its embassies to plot terrorist attacks in Europe.

“Just this past week there were Iranians arrested in Europe who were preparing to conduct a terror plot in Paris, France. We have seen this malign behavior in Europe,” Pompeo said in an interview with Sky News Arabia during a short trip to the United Arab Emirates.

“Pompeo levels such groundless claims against our country while different types of evidence of spying and acts of sabotage by the American embassies with hundreds of military and security personnel [involved]… have been published in various sources, and contemporary history is full of such types of illegitimate activities which are in contravention of international regulations,” Qassemi said.

This came after Belgian authorities claimed earlier this month that an Iranian diplomat had been arrested along with a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, suspected of plotting a bomb attack on a meeting of the notorious anti-Iran terrorist group the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in the French capital Paris. The meeting was attended by US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and several former European and Arab ministers.

The authorities added that Belgian police had intercepted the two suspects in Belgium on June 30 with 500 grams of the homemade explosive TATP and a detonation device found in their car.

The diplomat, 46-year-old Assadollah A, was arrested in Germany, suspected of having been in contact with the two arrested in Belgium.

Three other people were also arrested in France in connection with the case, two of whom were released.

Iranian officials have denied any involvement in any plot to blow up the MKO meeting and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has condemned the arrests as a “sinister false flag ploy.”

The allegations about the involvement of the Iranian diplomat in the suspected bomb attack on the MKO meeting were designed as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani paid a visit to Switzerland and Vienna and held talks with senior officials of the two European countries.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry said the allegations aimed to damage Iran-Europe relations during the visit.

France attack claim, MKO scenario to harm Iran-Europe ties: Qassemi

Iran says the notorious anti-Iran terrorist group, the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), is behind the “baseless and unfounded” plot against an Iranian diplomat arrested over allegations of involvement in a bomb attack in France.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Tuesday that the allegations about the involvement of an Iranian diplomat in the suspected bomb attack on an MKO meeting in Paris were designed at the current sensitive and important juncture to damage Iran-Europe relations.

He added that the MKO designed and implemented another scenario against the Islamic Republic after the terrorist group failed to win political support for its anti-human and anti-Iran goals during its annual session in Paris and simultaneous with the “successful” ongoing visit by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to two European countries.

The Iranian spokesperson emphasized that the terror group sought to jeopardize President Rouhani’s two-nation European tour and to undermine the Islamic Republic’s position in the public opinion.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran, as it has repeatedly announced, condemns and rejects any act of violence and terrorist move in any part of the world and in all its forms,” Qassemi pointed out.
There is evidence that the suspects arrested in Belgium are among the members of the MKO terror group, he said, expressing Iran’s readiness to work to clarify the real aspects of the pre-planned scenario by providing necessary documents.

Belgian authorities said on Monday that the Iranian diplomat had been arrested along with a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, suspected of plotting a bomb attack on the MKO meeting in Paris attended by US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and several former European and Arab ministers.

They added that Belgian police intercepted the two suspects in Belgium on Saturday with 500 grams of the homemade explosive TATP and a detonation device found in their car.

The diplomat, 46-year-old Assadollah A, was arrested in Germany, suspected of having been in contact with the two arrested in Belgium.

Three other people were also arrested in France in connection with the case, two of whom were released.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif denied any Iranian involvement in any plot to blow up the MKO meeting and said on Monday the arrests constitute a “sinister false flag ploy.”

Taking to his official Twitter account, Zarif said, “How convenient: Just as we embark on a presidential visit to Europe, an alleged Iranian operation and its ‘plotters’ arrested.”

The top Iranian diplomat emphasized that the Islamic Republic “unequivocally condemns all violence and terror anywhere, and is ready to work with all concerned to uncover what is a sinister false flag ploy.”

Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, President Rouhani arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday and held talks and attended a joint press conference with his Swiss counterpart, Alain Berset, on Tuesday.

The Iranian president plans to leave Bern for Vienna later on Tuesday to meet Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

Claims against Iran diplomat, false flag ploy: Zarif

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says the claims about an Iranian diplomat arrested over allegations of plotting a bomb attack on a meeting of the notorious anti-Iran terrorist group, the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), in France constitute a “sinister false flag ploy.”

Belgian authorities said on Monday that the Iranian diplomat had been arrested along with a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, suspected of plotting a bomb attack on the meeting in Paris attended by US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and several former European and Arab ministers.

Taking to his official Twitter account on Monday, Zarif said, “How convenient: Just as we embark on a presidential visit to Europe, an alleged Iranian operation and its ‘plotters’ arrested.”

The top Iranian diplomat emphasized that the Islamic Republic “unequivocally condemns all violence and terror anywhere, and is ready to work with all concerned to uncover what is a sinister false flag ploy.”

A joint statement by the Belgian prosecutor and the intelligence services claimed that the two suspects in Belgium were intercepted by Belgian police on Saturday, with 500 grams of TATP, a home-made explosive produced from easily available chemicals, as well as a detonation device found in their car.

It added that the diplomat at the Iranian embassy in the Austrian capital, Vienna, was arrested in Germany. The statement gave no further details about the diplomat other than saying the diplomat was suspected of having been in contact with the Belgian pair arrested.

Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, earlier on Monday at the invitation of his Swiss counterpart, Alain Berset. Switzerland is the first leg of Rouhani’s European tour, which will also take him to Austria.

Defector’s Testimonies on Pure Violence in the Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, Rajavi cult)

مهدی ابریشمچی ارتش خصوصی صدامWhile Iran and the world six powers were negotiating the Iranian nuclear program, the Mujahedin Khalq propaganda arm the so-called National Council of Resistance was all the time launching their notorious disinformation campaign against Islamic Republic.

The MKO figure who is introduced as “chairman of the Peace Commission of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, is Mehdi Abrishamchi. He is the key PR runner who declares the alleged revelations on Iranian nuclear program in the press conferences organized by the group.

Mehdi Abrishamchi is actually the ex-husband of the group’s alleged president elect Maryam Rajavi who divorced his wife to grant her to the leader of the cult Massoud Rajavi. Massoud married Maryam immediately after she separated from Abrishamchi.

Once Abrishamchi became the MKO’s PR tribune under the misleading title “chairman of Peace Commission”, former members of the group reminded his true nature as a malicious official of “the Cult of Rajavi”.

Javad Firouzmand is an MKO ex-member and currently the spokesman of Iran Aria Association that was founded by former members of the group to aid release and relocation of the group members. Mr. Firouzmand is one of those defectors of the cult who published a detailed article on Mehdi Abrishamchi’s true face. He denounces Abrishamchi as an enemy of peace and freedom who used to ruthlessly suppress any opposite opinion in MKO camps in Iraq and now he despicably runs the MKO’s demonizing and misinformation campaign in Europe.

Nejat Society has translated certain parts of Javad Firouzmand’s enlightening article on the MKO dreadful senior member Mehdi Abrishamchi:

” Abrishamchi surely remembers the summer of 2001 when he was torturing me in prison of Camp Ashraf after I was arrested and jailed following an unsuccessful escape. He broke the bone of my chest by his foot. He together with Hassan Nezamalmaleki and Mahvash Sepehri tried to make me blind by shoving a pen into my eye. They tried to lift me by pulling me with my ears while my hands were coughed and my feet were chained, that ultimately ended with my ears bleeding and puncture.

Instead of cheating and chanting slogans of “freedom”, Abrishamchi must answer me question: Did he respect my right for freedom when I decided to leave the MKO? I had spent the longest time of my life in the MKO, someday he has to state under what accusation he personally tortured me.

After several month of imprisonment he pulled me to Rajavi’s session called ‘To’meh’ [victim] in Camp Baqerzadeh where Massoud and Maryam Rajavi sentenced me to 8 years of hard labour and finally to death penalty. This way they wanted to threaten other dissident members of the cult. They signed my sentence before the eyes of 4000 members. Was it a crime to defect from the MKO Gestapo in the late years of Saddam Hussein’s ruling? Did it mean that I was a “regime mercenary” just because I wanted to leave the MKO?

I recall the days they hit me in the abandoned Camp Jalalzadeh. I was hand coughed beaten under their fists and feet. I do not forget Abrishamchi’s typical atrocity; he verbally abused my family while beating my chest, stomach and legs by his toes.

From early in the morning –when Saddam Hossein’s security forces submitted me to the MKO—Abrishamch and Hassan Nezamalmaleki started horrendously torturing me until noon. They were mad with Ba’th’s security guards who hadn’t shot me – Rajavi had previously ordered them to shoot any MKO defectors they come across. Beating me violently he was shouting,” They should have killed this ‘henchman’. Why did they yield him alive?”

I could never forget the evil face of Abrishamchi, Nezamalmaleki, Mahvash Sepehri and many other women of the Elite Council who used to torture me every day while my hands and feet were chained and my eyes were closed.

He was the person who after constantly torturing me for 8 hours ordered the guard of the prison to take me to their jail in Ashraf in which as he said they would be able to make me speak!”
